Violence
LCPS is a rough school; there is a certain level of everyday violence. If you're playing student, you may get barged into in a corridor, wrestled, waylaid, pounced on, or into a boxing match, or into a full on fight.
The important thing to remember is that this is an SM play scenario, not real life – if you are accosted in the street by half a dozen Chavs, then punching as many as possible as hard as you can is an acceptable response. At an LCPS event this is NOT acceptable. I'll emphasise this because it needs it: Play. It is all play; role-play, play-acting, play fighting, call it what you like, and the difference between play violence and the real thing is obvious, but I'll explain anyway.
In a real fight, the aim is to neutralise your opponent as fast as possible; in a play fight, the idea is to enjoy the game. The rule is that you don't hit your opponent any harder than he/she hits you.
And I'll explain a little further. In this scenario, if someone picks a fight with you, it's probably because he/she likes you, so smacking him/her into next month is not only inappropriate, it's also about the best way of showing him/her that he/she doesn't really like you after all.
Have you got that?
